WEBSITE REDESIGN
REACH OUT AND READ COLORADO
This was hands down my favorite website redesign project when I was working with nonprofit organizations. It was a pleasure to work with ROARCO and the team at Wanna Pixel. Before it's redesign, this website was confusing to navigate and not very mobile friendly, but a thoughtful design process changed everything.
— Home Page Design —

Just like a book cover draws you in, I wanted to create impact with a creative, colorful title that would draw users in to the website.
— About Page Design —
With the thoughtful use of typography, iconography and color, I designed an about page that would effectively relay the mission and work of this nonprofit organization. Pulling statistics from ROACO's annual report, I created a color coded map of the state of Colorado that gives a visual representation of services throughout the state.
— Resources Archive Design —

The per-existing website resources, though incredibly valuable, were difficult to find. For this page, I designed a grid to organize all the links to information. By using iconography, I was able to showcase the different categories in a way that was visually easy to digest.

The list was culled from hundreds of graphic and interactive designs from across the industry and features social good websites that elevate something rather simple into something memorable. The Reach Out and Read Colorado homepage is featured in the listing with a photo and the caption, “Highly accessible redesign while slick silent background video on homepage sets stage for whole experience by Meg Delagrange for Reach Out and Read Colorado.”
